This last winter I made a decision to compete in triathlon. I bought a book, set a schedule, and got to work. The only problem was I just kept getting more and more run down. No matter how I thought I was taking care of my body, I just couldn't keep up with the energy demands of my training schedule. The only area that I could think of I hadn't changed was my diet. One-Time Consultation or Swim Lesson
 
  • This option is for athletes who want to receive personalized advice and direction with training, but may not desire to invest in long-term coaching. Your face-to-face consultation can cover any aspect of training that you desire, including training and race nutrition, video analysis, goal setting, transition strategies, open water swimming, running gait, or training program design.
  • If you want to get faster, avoid injury, or identify and eliminate weaknesses, but do not want to "hire a coach" on a monthly basis, this consultation is for you. Each consultation includes a comprehensive written follow-up report that includes personal recommendations and feedback. You may repeat your one-time consultation during the year as desired.

$100/session for one person (50% discount for any Gold, Silver, or Bronze Package athletes)

Open water and pool swim lessons are available. 1x/week swim lessons are offered at a discounted price of $360/month. Click here to sign-up for monthly swim sessions.

Annual Training Program Design
 
  • Receive a complete customized training plan for the entire year, based on your personal schedule, goals, and selected races. The periodized training program is designed by a certified coach to allow for optimal performance while avoiding injury, overtraining, or burn-out.
  • Details include intensities, training volume, duration, workout frequencies, recoveries, and race tapers. These programs are designed for an athlete who desires to train independently, but wants specific direction with no guesswork.

Lve discussion with expert coach to discover the best weekly swim, bike, run routine, performance nutrition and optimal training for your triathlon goals. During your phone or personal consultation, your current training regimen, goals, and skills and any questions you may have are discussed in detail and answered by an expert coach.

Triathlon Club or Group Seminar
 

Hire a certified coach to visit your team or club for a guest lecture on a training topic of your choice.

Topics include: Nutrition for Endurance Athletes, Race Day Strategies, Weightlifting for Endurance Athletes, Triathlon 101, Equipment 101, and Training Program Design. Or choose your own topic based on your team or club's personal interests!

Laboratory Testing with Champions Sports Medicine in Spokane, WA
 

Ben Greenfield is Director of Sports Performance for Champions Sports Medicine, a Serotta certified bicycle fitter, and has full access to a broad array of performance and metabolic testing equipment in his lab. Whether you want to take your multi-sport performance to a higher level, or are just interested in gaining the most efficiency from your valuable training hours, the Champions Sports Medicine physiology and biomechanics lab offers a series of protocols that address each crucial aspect of training for endurance athletes, allowing you access to the gold standard for triathlon preparation. Lab testing options include the following:
