Eric Limkemann
As a multi-year professional triathlete, Eric earned a Masters Degree (MS) in Exercise Physiology from the University of Pittsburgh and is a certified strength and conditioning coach with the National Strength and Conditioning Association (NSCA CSCS). He was the 2007 USAT Rookie of the year and has been competing on the national and international scene ever since. His combination of education and experience gives him a unique perspective when meeting the needs of his athletes. He feel that anyone with the proper motivation and guidance can have a very successful and enjoyable athletic career.
Eric is the head coach of a 200 swimmer team in Dayton, Ohio team and have developed numerous Junior National and High School State qualifiers. He also works with a few local triathletes to help perfect swim stroke and set up weekly and monthly training plans both in and out of the water (contact Eric by e-mail to arrange local swim coaching in the Dayton, Ohio area). Previously, Eric was an assistant coach at the University of Pittsburgh where he had the privilege to directly oversee the training of Olympic Trials Qualifiers, Team Record Holders, and Conference finalists. Before taking the reigns as a coach, he was a 4 time team record holder and two year captain of the team. His daily interaction with passionate athletes for the past 10 years has shaped his outlook on the sport and drives him to continually learn new ways to motivate and train all levels of competitors.
